Noteworthy New Comics - Kick Ass

It was the title that grabbed me first.

Kick Ass. Simple but effective.

I took it off the shelf, leafed through it and immediately fell in love. I believe I’ve found a new regular title to replace the Exterminators.

Kick Ass is not your typical superhero comic. Actually it’s more like an anti-hero comic, although at only two issues in, it may be to early to tell.

It’s basically about this comic book geek who takes his love to the next level, donning a really dorky costume before hitting the streets to “save people.”

In the first issue, he get’s his ass beat royally.

In the second, he does some ass beating of his own.

The fight scenes are graphic and bloody. YAY!

I’m keeping an eye on this one. I do think there are more good things to come.
