Noteworthy New Comic - Locke and Key

I realized I have a thing for sickly, dark and twisted titles.

So I was nothing short of delighted when I found this book.

If you’re squeamish and don’t like blood an violence, maybe this one isn’t for you. If blood is your thing, read on.

The story centers on a family whose life is turned upside down by the bloody actions of a psychotic teenager. The art is strong and vivid and the writing is acid and charged.

There’s also a bit of paranormal spook factor thrown into the mix.

The coolest thing about this book is the LOST like flashbacks. The book goes back and forth in time from the present to the past, not revealing all at once.

I will certainly stayed tuned.
